For the midterm, I am creating a portfolio site to exhibit my work. I am a BBA student but I recently switched from a Fashion Communication Minor to a Communication Design Minor (Graphic Design.) In the past two terms alone, I have developed a significant body of work through my minor classes. In the first rendition of my site, I will be adding eight poster pieces to my site. In the furutre renditions, I will aim to add more pieces to showcase my editorial design skills.
In order to develop the aesthetic of my site, I looked up professional portfolio sites online that I admired.
My intended target audience will be firms and agencies who are looking to hire a graphic designer for either freelance or part-time to full time positions. My site should speak to my aesthetic and showcase my strongest work.
In designing this site, I was inspired by many of the portfolio sites I looked at while researching. The picture below is another example of a great portfolio designed by Foo Studio in Mexico.
